Does the 22 hp Liquid Cooled lazer 60" have enough power to effectively run the grass collection system you offer? This is a used model with 640 hours on it.

    Turfman 59,

The 22 liquid cooled should run the vac just fine but only once the engine has warmed up. The 22 liquid cooled as a great engine but it was a cold blooded as you'll get in a commercial engine.

Just let it warm up and you'll be fine.

    Thanks

this year in Central Michigan the leaves were not totally down until December 1st. This will put a crimp on fall clean-ups, Are you saying that this machine will have issues in temperatures that are below 50 degrees, and how long does it take to warm up. Is liquid cooled an advantage on engine life?

    Turfman 59,

It's not a real problem. You will however probably want to let it run until you hear the cooling fan cycle on one time. It will need at least 15 minutes to warm up and if it's covered in frost in the morning it will need even more. Crank it up and let it run at full throttle for a little while and it will be a totally different engine. It takes much longer to cool back down so you don't have to worry about warming it back up again if you stop cutting, take a break or go to your favorite coffee shop to warm yourself up.

It's a great engine but it needs to warm up before you can get a feel for what it can do.

    Thanks

    Terry
