How many people have a college degree and doing the lawn business fulltime now and or quit their regular day job and started their own lawn business with no regrets.

Electrical Engineering (Clemson University) and Civil Engineering (USM Southern Miss) BS

Been in the industry full-time for 4 years now and love every minute of being outside everyday.

College prepared me for many things in life, but finding something that makes you happy is worth it's weight in gold. At the end of the day it's just a (expensive) little piece of paper on my wall.

I'm currently attending college for business management. I am hoping it helps my business in the future.

If you're dead set on owning a lawn care biz than a college degree is nothing more than an expensive tchatchke.

I want your opinion! Do you'll think I should A.) Go to college next year and.not take time off from school to run my business? Or B.) Not go to college right away and run my business?

Do both. Take a communications/speech class, a business writing class, and English 101. Throw in a business law class, as well. See how you like the experience and, if not, at the bare minimum, you've taken some classes that will benefit you in the long run.
