commercial bid question

    Ok... there are 39 locations all within a 4-5 sq mile area

    I bet you are going to have bid competitively. $55 for a 1495 sq ft is not competitive. Sounds like a nice opportunity. I would figure out your costs to do it, and then add a 20-30% profit margin.

    Thanks! I will have to bid much lower, found out the lowest bid was $995 last year Man I think that was crazy, but I guess if you got it like that then...

    I just landed a county bid, and it is multiple locations.
    Some locations are less than an acre, and one is 11 acres, with some that are 6 acres, 5 aces etc.

    I bid each location as follows.
    1. $35 minumum up to 1 acre
    2. $35 for the first acrer, and $25 for each additional acre at larger locations.

    With my deck setup, there will be no trimming to speak of. I can get under all the bbq. grills, fences, pine trees, - can contour the ditches with a big mower easy.

    This type of account is perfect for me. Some tiny places, some big places.

    Will do the whole account with the 9 1/2 foot mower.
