i was just wondering is their an easy way to tell on blue prints where you will need to put grass seed and loam down or do you just figure for the whole area and then adjust it as your doing the job?

also when they say mulch 1/8 thickness over seed i am assuming that that would be mulch hay correct?

also how can you tell how much loam youll need if its 4 inches thick for 100,000 sqft? i know if you have the dimensions of like 20x20x4=1600/27
=60 yards. but this is odd shapped prints and i dont have the full scale because its on a computer screen. but it says total sq footage of the whole property is 177,576 sq ft.

    Thanks for the advice.

Your math on 20x20 is off. 20x20 is 400 sg ft then you multiplied it by 4 feet. So you need around 4 yards not 60.

Also the mulch is more than likely hydroseeding they want done. Not straw.

ok so i did that wrong i was thinking something else. take 20x20x4inches deep and you get 1600. divide that by 324 and you get 4.9 so 5 yards.

So your whole project would be around 550 yards if my math is right
