Hello everyone! This is my first post on Lawn site. Seems like "some" of you know what your talking on here and others are just visiting so i figured this may be the best way to get some information. You know the dealers are just going to give you BS to sell their product. I have been in business now for 9 years. We currently run 4 Walker GHS and have dont well with them. I am thinking about getting a larger deck setup with a PECO bagging unit on the back. I have been looking at the Exmark Lazer Z XS 72inch deck with 35 HP Vanguard engine. But i am so comfitable with the Walker i dont know if i want to switch. So which would you prefer to run. The Exmark Lazer Z XS 72 inch deck 35 HP vanguard or Walker MB 62 inch deck 27HP Kohler Both with a bagging unit. Please give me your pros and cons for these two units.

    Thanks for your time!

yeah, why not go with the 74"?

If you like the walker....why not get a super bee?

I agree. I would go with the 60" Walker Super B. From what I seen the Peco bagger only works on the 60 inch deck.

We have used the Walker Super B for 3 seasons now and can use it in a lot of places I would never put our Tiger. Our dealer did the Walker upgrade to the hydro system and honestly we have had no problems at all. Quick and nimble! For some--the lenght mighty be a problem on a smaller trailer but we run all Isuzu flatbeds and have no issues at all.

You cant put a discharging deck on the Walker with the GHS system. We cant discharge these accounts they are high end properties. So thats why im looking into the Walker MB (Super Bee) model with the Peco system.

I am leaning towards the Super Bee! I have been happy with Walker for 9 years now so why change.....Thanks for the feedback old clown!

Do some research on PECO. You may want to make another choice. While the walker super bee is a pretty nice machine, and you have walkers already I see why you want to stick with that name but I think the aftermarket catcher idea isn't very grand. If you need to bag all the time I'd go with a 60" Exmark, if that's what you have available. Their catcher system is going to be MUCH easier to use and will hold up a lot better than the peco.

I know what you mean about bagging everything, we do here too. So I'm well experienced with catchers...

Yes you can. The SD decks will go on ANY walker model.

As an option you can add a 'blower lockout' that disengages the belt for the blower for use without the GHS decks. It's not 100% necessary though, just operator preference. There's also a plug they sell to block off the opening into the blower. The blower still runs but no air and debris can get through it.
