    dirt bucket
    what size machine would be best

    I'm considering the same thing myself. Was thinking about getting a Ventrac tractor. Interested to see what opinions are presented as well.

    You can get them for tractor or ctl.

    I agree that tractors and their implements are much less expensive and easily sourced used. Plus most tractor implements are 100% mechanical in nature vs hydraulic for skid/track loaders which means they last forever and wear parts are also cheaper. If you need to move a lot of dirt/excavate/grade or handle heavy pallets bite the bullet and get a CTL you will be disappointed with a tractors performance in those areas.

    Yeah that's not true. More and more are going to hydraulics. Old tractor implements are easy to find. You're in Annapolis Anne Arundel is surrounded with farms. Lol. I'm about 20 minutes south

    A ctl can do anything a tractor can do. But a tractor cannot do everything a ctl can.

    But they're two completely different machines with different price points. Do you do snow?
