any of you guys apply compost regularly? how much do you charge? any advice on choosing a good compost, applying it, etc...?

what do you think about a product called Numus, which is a pelletized compost? would you think this would work the same? half the benefit?

is compost fine sitting out in the sun for the whole summer? example: i buy say 30 cubic yards of it in the spring, but only use half. will the compost work the same in the fall? should i cover it?

does anyone use it to suppress diseases?

i appreciate any help on the above questions or any information, books, sites, etc. on compost.

We have customers that ask for it in the spring we charge cost of the compost plus a charge to spread it out. WE use wheelbarrows and shovels and rakes. It runs around $60 per yard. No it dont' degrade unless you put chemicals on it.
