Have a customer that wants me to bid on doing two concrete pours. One pad 7' by 16 ' level pour. the other is 22' x 28' sloped gradually toward center to existing drain system.

I have two concrete guys that will do the job for 1400.00 as long as I help hump the concrete. Customer is paying for the concrete directly.

I have no idea what the going rates are. Does $1400.00 sound right?

I'm doing a drip system and mulch install in the entire back yard and was asked to help them with the concrete job.

In WA, a good concrete finisher could charge an easy $50-$80 an hour.

In my opinion, do the form work yourself, and assist in the pour (Perhaps helping muck while the pro's do the rodding?)

Definitly hire out the finish work, its not an art easily mastered.
