Here is my problem. I have a large slab of concrete from an old shed that has since been removed. Rather then paying a huge cost of having the old concrete removed and hauled away, i was wondering if I could just cover the whole thing with a foot or so of dirt and plant grass? Any one have any ideas or comments on this for me? Thanks for your time.

Covering the whole thing with a foot of dirt doesn't sound easy either. How large are we talking here? Do you know how thick it is?

is the slab already below grade? b/c if its not grass isn't going to hold that foot of soil in place, the soil would just wash away.
