I have never done this before, but I found a guy selling his company, and his clients. I already have all of my equipment, but am still growing clients. How much should I pay for his clients? I have had them given to me in the past, but from people I know. I dont know this guy, but I want his clients. What percentage or what base price should I pay? There are around 10-15 clients. Thanks for the help.

If these are lawn customers with 3 years work history, i would pay 2 months worth of total billing. I will assume that these accounts are in your area. Equipment is worth market value, unless it is in premiere shape. Offer one months first, and see if he bites. The problem is always the transition, make sure he is willing to help with this. Good Luck
