My business is based in North Carolina, and I wanted to know, if I had alot of contracts, or a customer asked me to do a service I wasn't able to do, and I wanted to contract it out, would I need any kind of contractors license? Thanks for the help.

Depends on the specific rules and regs in your state, county, and/or township.
