Has anyone taking a npr box truck and installed a dump body on this. I found an 1991 NPR with 120k for $4k. I want to get rid of box and stakebody dump. I was wondering how much stake body dump is, probably 18 ft. Its saturday, so i cant call for prices right now, sigh!

If the wheelbase is long enough for a 18 foot van you will have to put minimum 16 foot dump on it. You are going to be in for some money.

Your other option is put a 12 foot dump on it and a 4 foot toolbox on the back or a 14 foot dump and a 2 foot toolbox behind the cab.

Once you start getting into a 16 foot dumping flatdeck your getting into some serious coin.

i was thinking somewhere around $3500. If i get the truck for 4k and sell the box for a 1k, i will be in the ball park of $6k for the truck. I want the removable sides to plow in the winter and put a vbox in the back.
