Question, how many of you guy's have your company name and/or logo copyrighted?

I've seen some names similar to mine and I am wondering if I should. My business is registered with the state, tax id, etc...

I don't believe that one applies for a copyright to a name. I believe copyright is for "copy". That would be the text used in an ad or the body copy of a book. Don't take my word for it, but I think what one would apply for on a name is a Trademark. TM is the signia that qualifies a name or logo as owned by one and unusable by another. It is pretty cheap to do but most small business people use their personal name in their company name so it is useless.
