A healthy lawn fertilized, watered and mowed at the proper height helps keep weeds down by a large percentage. This can also reduce pesticide use and improve the environment. Your video was nice, however in your future videos don't use your hands to emphasize the importance of your point or points. You don't need to. Let your words be the power.
Watch your video again and you will see what I am referring to. Welcome to LawnSite!

A picture is worth a thousand words... you would do well to have the potential client seeing closeup video of the aeration process rather than watching someone lecture/preach to them... I only turn the sound on, for my laptop on special occasions...

I would photograph individual plugs from a variety of lawns and make the pitch as to what aeration is actually doing for this particular lawn, then that particular lawn, etc... explanation of the texture involved and how aeration helps... friability and tilth of the soil's structure and how aeration helps... things like this with good video is fun to watch...
If you do decide to continue highlighting yourself at least dress like a scaper, rather than an office manager...

I don't mean to offend at all,,, but where I may have been enticed to watch it,,, I decided not to listen... sorry... :)

Just watched the video. Short enough so the average person doesn't check out.

A single pass with a rolling time aetator is simply not enough to work for an overseed.

I honestly find the terminology of over seeding and only using a drum style aetator single pass and broadcast or drop seeding without the addtional step of slice seeding and/or verticut to be misleading.

Senske pulls this here in my area and clients show me the beat down Senske quote and wonder why I'm so expensive....?

Yes....some seed will germinate and take but seed is expensive and the results will be less than optimal.

Hands down reciprocating aerators are vastly better for passive overseeding and full overseeds with a slicer/verticut. The Plugr style cam action in combo with the hydro drive allows one to pull a ton of plugs and fracture the soil, lift the sod and vertically till.....all in one step.

No if only someone would make a infinitely variable reciprocating hydro drive aerator where the tines kept going and you could SLOW down the unit to a crawl and even go back and forth and TRULY make solid seed soil contact possible in the desired target areas..... ;)

What was this last video supposed to be??? By your description I thought we were going to look at a type of aeravator, but what I saw may have been a guy pushing a wheelbarrow... what did the soil look like when it was done???

 Um....just a non hi-def video of me running my aerators in March a few years back.

Better video will be posted eventually....I have a Go Pro 2 and a Hi-Definition camcorder now.

    That's cool... :)
but as I was telling noonturfcare, the star of the show is the machine and its effects on the soil..
