Core aeration

    Does core aeration work and does anyone know the advantages this process gives to the soil and grass

    Yes it works. The advantages are:

    • Increases the activity of soil microorganisms that decompose thatch.
    • Increases water, nutrient and oxygen movement into the soil.
    • Improves rooting.
    • Enhances infiltration of rainfall or irrigation.
    • Helps prevent fertilizer and pesticide run-off from overly compacted areas.

    These are straight from the literature we use for educating customers on the advantages of core aeration. Are you thinking about getting onto this or what's up?
