Core VS Slit Aeration

    Hello guys,
    please can you explain the pros and cons of slit aeration core aeration?

    Core = pulls plugs thus allowing in air in soil

    Slit - is not aeration. Its a technique to insert seed to soil at a very high success rate

    I take it you mean spike aeration, not slit.

    As mentioned above plug pulls cores from the soil. This allows air and water down into the soil and also relieves soil compaction.

    Spike aeration drives a spike into the ground allowing air and water in but does not relieve any compaction.

    Plug is much better in my opinion.
