I work full time on trailers & mow part time.

I have welded on mowers and plows for our lawn customers. We charge $60 per hour + steel.

I have a 36" and its rusted bad around (I am not sure what you call them)Its the two pieces (pulleys,Spindles) that the two bets go around for the blades. My mower in those two areas on the deck are rusted threw almost all the way around becuse water was collecting thier from the previous owner. Its like a cup in those two areas so the steel will have too be bent. I wont too patch it and put up[ supports. Is this considered a small job, less then a hour.

Can you post a pick of the area? Even if its not your mower, just to see what the area looks like.

Anything you can take off would cut down on the time.

60/hour sometimes there is a charge for consumables. A decent wire feed both gas and flux core will run about $500.
