I have been pulling out weeds from my landscape and it seems like a never ending battle. Could I put weed-n-feed in the landscape to slow the process of these weeds growing, and would it hurt my shrubs, trees and bushes? My thought on weed-n-feed are that they make the ground dormant for weeds but fertilize the grass.

you're way off base...but if you like...you can use Preen or something similar.

Would the preen stop new weed growth?

it kills new weed seeds before they germinate...it does nothing for existing weeds, however.

You need a preemergent to control the weeds in your ornamentals.. Like Surf N' Turf said use Preen or Snapshot

Round up will kill the weeds. Get them before they grow so big.

Put down the Preen or Snapshot. Then use RoundUp on any weeds that are present.....

DON'T use a lawn weed-n-feed in your landscape beds.
