I'm doing a job where the customer wants to bring the ground level up about a foot. There are two sprinkler heads that are going to be covered and the customer wants to know if there is an extension we can put on the existing heads. Please help!
    Thanks!!!!!!!

You should be able to extend the riser to the sprinkler, if it was installed that way.

Or there might be a swing joint or swing pipe on it. Just get a good hold of it and pull it up.

The head is probably not on a long enough swing assy to raise it a foot. REmove the exisiting assy and install a new one with enough tube so that when raised the assy is at no more than a 45 degree angle above horizontal. Also by adding and extra street el between the spiral barb fitting and the head you get nice adjustability in any direction.

If you don't know what we're talking about, go to the Hunter website and look at their residential design manual.
