I have a project that involves covering a porch that is a stamped (pressed) concrete with flagstone. While that is not a problem the concrete concerns me a little as it has been sealed numerous times in the past. Will etching be sufficient or does anyone have any advice on what else I might consider before laying the flagstone. Is there anything I can add to the mortar mixture to help? Thanks.

you may want to try a bonding agent additive to the mortar mixture to add some bonding strength
