What pre emergent covers the broadest spectrum of all the other weeds out there? Summer and winter weeds? Out of Pre-M, Dimension, and Barricade, or others?

Hey Im in Nc and I have used Barricade for years and love it. What grass species?Bermuda,St Augustine,Fescue? I use it on Fescue but it also works on Bermuda. It works good with an early app. BUt to really hit it with early Barricade and late Dimension. I ve done this before and had great results. Good luck it is that time again.

    Good question Slim,
I counted 28 weeds on my Cavalcade (Prodiamine) label.
I counted 82 on my Dimension (dithiopyr) label.

Don't know about others--and not all labels are the same. And some labels include weeds controlled only at the maximum rate. And sometimes they are wildly optimistic.

A split Dimension application will work well.

My lawns are primarily Centipede with areas of st. augustine(creeping from neighbors) I just put out stonewall(barricade) on a couple yards and when reading the label, I counted about 25-30 weeds covered.
