Ok, I know it's a softie mower, but can someone help me with disabling the operator-presence switch on a Sears Craftsman riding mower? There are (often) times when it would be useful to put the mower in a "suicide" situation -- e.g. when stuck in snow/mud and pushing the mower from behind. I know exactly what I am getting into with this mod.... therefore also willing to take the inherent risks.

    Thanks for any advice!!

If I remember right all you have to do is unplug the wires under the seat and cross the terminals on the harness side with a jumper wire. WARNING: This modification will allow you to retrieve a cold one from the fridge, remove a limb from your path and cut your feet off with no trouble......Mike
