I have someone responding to my garden blog article on crape myrtles, telling me that they bought a Nachez and that it was white last year, but pink this year. I can't think of a reason for this to happen, except that two different cuttings were stuck in a pot and one was white and one pink, but that would produce a multi-colored bloom. Anyone have any thoughts?

Some plants bloom colors change due to soil ph. I know that's true of Hydrangea's don't know about a Crepe Myrtle. It is generally a gradual process though not bright pint one season and bright white the next.
