Have you guys trimmed back your crape myrtle trees yet? Should I do them now or wait? When is the best time to do the trimming. Some say or do it in November others say wait until your last freeze.thanks for some needed input so I can inform my customers on how to have a great lookind crape myrtle.

    Don't trim. Let them grow!

Trimming has got to be done before the sap starts to rise. Crepe's flower only on new wood. Some people let them go and they reach tremendous heights and flowers become sparse. It's a aesthetic call. Just remember that "New Wood" has flowers.
