do any of you accept credit cards? i've never been asked before if i do, but i'm sure it would help when peoples bills get rather high..

if you do accept them, what does it take to get set up? and how much does it cost?

  2. Yes I do
My bank did not charge me anything to start accepting cards. They even gave me a small imprinter to use in the field. Rates vary widely from bank to bank. My minimum cost for fees is $20 a month.
Also lots of posts on this already if you do a search.

I just signed my company up to accept credit cards. I really feel that this will be a good move. A lot of people want to have some landscape work done but don't have the immediate funds to pay for it. I'm also hoping that this will help the lawncare side of things. I used a company out of Indiana. The costs to me is $9.95 per month and 3% of each sale. If you want to contact them, the reps email is: jpgeorge@attbi.com . If you want, tell him that you recently spoke with Mike Bucher from MJB Lawncare.
    Hope this helps.
