Cryogenic treating blades and metal parts...

    Have any of you guys ever cryo treated your blades? i've got a connection with the cryo company, and can have my stuff done for super cheap. they say that it will significantly increase the life of the blades and edges... i know they do brake pads and rotors and get some crazy results...

    anyone ever done this?

    I have heard of this way of hardening steel but I don't know if I would do my blades. I think they would chip easily or even break if they hit something hard at the high speed they are cutting at. Try a set and let us know how it works for you.
