Same here, we were looking forward to an April 1st start. We had planned on digging out lawn equipment, until that last round dumped a foot on us.

we all know in the great northeast that March is so unpredictable.Just make sure your equipment is ready cause once the weather breaks it's mow and mow till the sun won't show!!!!

If it continues like this we wont be mowing until June, but I bet winter won't come until January next year!

Yea April 1st for anything is pretty much off the table. I really was looking forward to a fast start, although last year was a tease & most cleanups were well underway in March.

This next storm may stay to our south! Hopefully if that's true I can start my clean ups this week!

Looks like My partner and I will get to put 10k of ours back into the business next month on top for 10k already this winter. Very painful start to the new year we really need 15 working days in March and 6-7 isn't going to cut it. Plus side we do have the money but I hate going in reverse. Course I tell my dealer this and he laughs the last year was much harder on him.

I was into spring cleanups by this time last year. I'm in pretty good shape at this point though due to pretty significant plowing income. I'll probably start spring cleanups next week on some of my more needy accounts, those with lots of limbs down and broken shrubbery from the heavy snow. I've already started doing some tractor work.

I don't know how you northeast people do it....my gosh, I've got over 200 accounts here in texas and I still have a hard time making it through the winter....and our "winter" doesn't really get started until the middle of december.
