My 2006 Cub cadet tank idler pulley bearing just came off. Can you just get the bearing by themselves, or do you have to get a new pulley every time?

    Part Number: 02004447
    Description: CUB CADET PULLEY-FLAT IDLER

Thanks. There is also an aftermarket pulley by "Stens", 02004447 and not sure if it's as good as cub brand, but was told it was.

Stens sells good stuff, the part number you need is 280-794

You have to get a new one every time.

Seems so. The bolt that goes through the pulley is still on the tractor. I guess when the bearing failed, the pulley came off, but nothing else. Now I can't get the bolt off, lol. Soaked it in wd-40 and some tabasco, but not luck yet.

We've changed them in the trailer. Its a pain, but it can be done.

Thanks! Got it off. Looks like there are two washers.

    1) One goes on each side of the pulley?

    2) And how tight do I make the nut?
