I have a Cubcadet Recon not real impressed with the steering. Does anyone else have one how is the steering on yours. I think there is something wrong with the hydrolic pump it will whine and bearly go in revurse on the left turn. anyone else have issues with them?

I bought a new tank this year and the reason I didnt get the recon is because I didnt want to be a guinnea pig for the new hydrolic system they are using to save money. Take it too your local cubcadet commercial dealer and let him fix it. It should still be under warrenty.

Sounds like you need to tighten your drive belt...its a manual adjustment that you can reach by taking the battery out and by prying the idler over as far as possible. Such a pain! The tanks are so much better in my opinion
