What is the proper cut height for your last cutting on your accounts. my understanding is that too short is bad and too long is bad too. So i've been keepin it in the middle. what do all of you do?

I usually set it down to 1 1/2 inches (maybe 2'' on certain lawns) but certainly no higher than 2'' for the last mowing. I assume it's going to be different heights for different grass types. Aorund here alot of lawns are a fescue mix, which doesn't do too well if you cut it extremely short (like 1'').

about 2.5- 3 inches here. just depends on what height i cut during the season. i will cut it about half or so inch shorter, unless its st augustine.
