Cutting down a tree.

    This guy wants me to cut down a tree for him, i havent seen it and i dont know how much i should charge. (i will only cut it if it is under 40') Any ideas about how much to charge?

    make sure you have enough insurance to cover it. may be worth subbing it out to a tree company

    just cut it and leave it?? or do you have to haul it away???

    How much is enough i have 500k?

    And i think bulk pickup will haul it off if i leave it by the curb.

    most tree companys carry atleast 1million, i carry 1million jus to do commercial property

    last tree I cut down was out in the open I charged 1,000.00

    I had my helper cut it into smaller pices then I sold the wood to a Freind for 200.00

    i usually bid it for time and1/2 plus dump fee.double time if you gotta climb.
