Growing up I dealt with Kentucky Bluegrass in Indiana....now I live in Texas and have to use other types....I usually cut my lawn at the highest setting....I think it looks better that way.......is it okay to cut Rye grass at the highest setting?

In Texas we cut the rye low and often, due to warm weather it grows fast and will turn over on itself and get disease. It is necessary to feed it sulfate monthly to keep various disease out.
