Just wondering how everyone prices removing sod. Do you price it by a certain amt. per ft., keeping in mind that i have to dispose of it for $60 per ton at the nearby dump. I need to rent a machine to do this, so I'll also have to factor in the cost of that also.
    thanks

  2. You answered your own question if you think about it.
    $60 a ton to dump
    rental of sod cutter
how much you want to make an hour.
Then you can measure the area to be removed and quote a price per sq.ft. or sq.yard.

Before you ask, weight of roll depends on if soil is wet, how much dirt your taking with you. Most rolls that I cut out can weigh about 35 to 50 pounds
