cv15s or cv15t?

    what is the difference in these two kohler motors. my 48" bobcat says cv15t but i see a good deal on a cv15s are they the same shaft and everything?

    from doing a search, looks like the only diff is the T has a recoil and the S doesnt.

    "S" Denotes Electric Start and "T" Denotes Retractable Start.

    To see if they'll replace each other you'll need the spec number. There a bunch of different CV14 engines, and they are differentiated by the spec number. Each spec number denotes different parts on the engine, such as crankshaft, air cleaner, governor, exhaust, oil filter, etc.
