Yup, I put one of the "cloud" ones up for our computer guy.
This particular model runs off of the home's wireless network.
He really likes it since he can run it from his computer or iphone.
Call Cyber-Rain directly to see if you can get contractor pricing.

Haven't used it, but looked through the user manual and the capabilities are rather limited, and this screenshot from the user manual of the software doesn't inspire any confidence at all. Remote access and flow logging is the only thing I am seeing that is desirable .... and at a pretty steep price.

I used it on an install, Didn't know you could buy direct but in the future I will definitely do so depending on pricing. They must give a contractor discount because when I installed it, my supply house special ordered it for me and I payed less than their online prices show, and you know the supply house marked it up. The customer is a big shot for Google and had the full house automated.

My customer is an EE here in the valley. Not sure who he works for but he has a couple patents in his name.

However, he also seems to go for lower cost things that always frustrate him in the end.... Troy outdoor lighting for instance, with their crappy, greenish-hued no-name LEDs.

He's also the customer who thought that the humidity from his drier vent was causing problems with one light fixture 10 ft. away even after I pointed out it was more likely the 1806 sprinkler right next to it.
    :hammerhead:

I'm suggesting he go with a Total Control (he already has one, 10 years old, familiar with it) and Climate Logic. Though he might opt for the Irritrol PC Control because he likes the idea of being able to program it from his computer. (Though it doesn't look at first glance like it can be accessed remotely over the Internet, like when he's travelling on business.)

PC Control specs out separate commons for each unit.

  8. Seems to me a program that is sent to your Iphone once a month is no better than a seasonal adjust controller.

Lots of fancy claims with no hope of really backing them up .... and all you are getting is a watered down "smart" controller that guesses at system PR, DU, AE and uses historical ETo averages (assuming they are even available). Some of the claims are down right ludicrous.
