I run a 2 crew lawn care operation here in Arlington, TX. I have decided to pursue other interests and therefore I am looking to sale my business. This business services Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie & surrounding areas. I am looking to sell the business as entire entity, equipment & customers. Here is some general info about the business.

We have about 250 current customers, but have over 750 customers in our database that we have serviced over the past several years.

We have been in business for 6 years.

We have 2 crews that basically do mow and go & small landscaping jobs.

We have about $15,000 in trucks & equipment. (Mowers, trimmers, etc.)

We have 5 employees, and our facility is in Kennedale, TX.

In 2008 we grossed over $170,000 in revenue. (We have documentation to prove all numbers, bank statements & tax documents)

None of our customers are on contracts, however we have credit cards on file for 95% of our current customers. We charge credit cards next day, which makes cash flow much better!

This business can be a nice route for some that wants to get in the business or a company looking to grow rapidly or to expand. This is my baby and have a really hard time even typing this now. However, I know for me in my life now its the best thing for me to do. I can be involved in the transition from beginning to end as for some of these customers have been with me for some time.

The asking price is $40,000. This can be made back within 3 months. This is a great investment for the money. Again, we grossed over $170,000 in 2008. That's not even 1/3 of gross. Its really a great deal, and possibly negotiable depending on the details of the deal. If you have any questions, you can pm me or email me at keith@betterlawns.net. I have a facility in Kennedale where we can meet and you can actually see the entire operation. Again, we have official documentation to prove all of our numbers; bank reconciliations, tax returns, bank statements. I am a reputable business that does things the right way. Please only contact me if you are serious, as this is a serious business. If you contact me through the email, I can give more details and more info if talks progress into that. Thanks for looking, and don't hesistate to ask any questions!!!

Wow. That was a quick sale. I looked at it and waited a couple of days before I jumped at it.

The one thing that had me perplexed is the value of equipment for two crews. 15k sounds like two hatchbacks, a broken residential weedeater and a Murray non-selfpropelled weedeater. That or the trucks and equipment were in need of replacement.

Nevertheless, I was not extended a courtesy call or email to tell me directly it was sold, thanks for the reply now buzz off.

I shall wait for another opportunity.

I'm in need of a quality ramp for my box truck. Dovetail with spring assisted ramps or hydraulic lift...I am open to options.
