    Davey Tree Announces Two Utility Promotions
    Kent, Ohio —The Davey Tree Expert Company has announced the promotions of Tom Wolf and Craig Holcomb within the utility service line.
    Tom Wolf has been promoted to the position of vice president of customer relations for Davey utility services. In this new role, Wolf will be responsible for the development and management of a national utility sales program and aligning it to Davey’s strategic growth initiatives.
    Wolf began his career with Wolf Tree in 1974. He started as a groundman and worked his way to manager of residential services in 1990. In 1996, Wolf was named president of Wolf Tree and joined Davey Tree in 2008 as part of Davey’s acquisition of Wolf Tree. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee’s College of Business Administration. He has served as president of the Southern Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, and he served as chair of the City of Knoxville Tree Board. He is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist and is currently a board member of Knoxville Habitat for Humanity.
    “Tom has a wealth of experience within the utility services marketplace,” said Steve Marshall, executive vice president, operations. “This experience, combined with his interpersonal skills, gives us a unique opportunity to strengthen our sales efforts on a national basis.”
    Davey Tree also promoted Craig Holcomb to the position of vice president, Wolf Tree operations.

    Holcomb joined Davey in 2007 as a senior business analyst. During his time at Davey, Holcomb has had the opportunity to work in a strategic advisory capacity for many different areas of the Davey company. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Akron and a master’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.
    “Craig’s strong business experience and success at personnel development suits him well for his new role as vice president,” said Marshall. “Having worked closely with Wolf Tree over the past few years, Craig already has his new team poised to continue to move Wolf Tree forward, while maintaining their long-held traditions.”
