One of the hydro pumps on my 62" Toro is definitely slower than the other and it has a dead area on both sides of neutral making it very annoying to operate. What is going on? Hydro going out? other suggestions?

I had a problem with my hydros, it might have been the same as yours. What I found was the levers that bolt on the hydro pump shaft were loose on both pumps. I use to have alot of play in the control arms but after I tightened them they work like new.

What chesterlawn said is dead on. Very common on Toro Zs, its wierd, I see it way more on Toros that Exmark.
