I sent you guys an email, have not heard a response. I have a 2005 super z making dead spots on the turf need the heat sheild. The thread posted about this said the heat sheild would be no charge. My dealer told me hustler is charging him for the part. Can you please clear this up for me because this is an obvious defect when the mower was made. The dealer is steiner turf equipment in orville, ohio.

I replied to your e-mail Saturday 3/22/2008 @ 11:58 AM, check your junk mail folder, sometimes my emails get stuck in them when I send them do to "hustler" being in the email address.
I also forwarded your e-mail to our regional service manager, your dealer should be all set by now.

I have had the same issue with burn spots from my mower...a 60" Super Z 2004 model. How do I get one of these heat shiels for my mower? I bought mine from Larry's mower shop outside of Ann Arbor.

    Thanks

You can order one through Larry's.
