I have a guy that is selling a RedMax TR2350S that he has NEVER PUT GAS IN & still has the 3-year warranty for $275. I may try to see if he will take $250 cash for it, but I wanted to see first what you guys think. I have been looking at purchasing a RedMax anyway, this one or the TR2460S.

Does anyone run the TR2350? How do you like it? Would you take this deal if you were in my situation?

Right now I run 2 Stihl FS70s. I like them, but I was looking into RedMax anyway as I hear many good things.

    I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks.

Bullet proof little trimmer. Don't expect to do much with it other than weekly trimming duties. My dealer sells them for $289 so $275 isn't really a smoking deal, IMO.

I bought the same trimmer last year at the beginning of mowing season from Russo Power Equipment on Ebay for $265 to the door. No tax and free shipping. That was last year and I'm sure they are probably more this year but I am very pleased with it. It is used on 40 to 60 lawns weekly and has not give me one ounce of trouble. Awesome product.

I agree. I still have a big Shindaiwa T-272 for the big stuff but you just can't beat the performance of this little trimmer on a daily basis.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know if the 3-year warranty is why he is making it seem a "good deal". He said he paid over $300 last year. That's with our 9.5% tax too though.

LOL. I guess I got a lemon. I had a TR2300 and it was truly was the weakest trimmer I ever owned...and I am a fan of the smaller lightweight trimmers. I even went to the effort to buy .080 line because it sucked so bad with .095. I had it less than a month and had to take it back to the dealer because it wouldn't start. I don't recall but one other piece of two-cycle equipment in 20 years going back to the dealer so soon. And only a handful ever. I disliked the thing so much that I sat it on the counter and told them they could have it. I didn't want my money back or anything. I just didn't want it anymore. They credited me the money to my account anyway, but I was willing to leave it and chalk it up to a terrible purchase.

No problems whatsoever with any other Redmax stuff. I'd buy the BCZ2460 or 2650

Interesting...even on their website it's nothing but 5 star reviews.
