Dealer quoted us $9395..00 for 23 hp and 1595.00 for the 42" deck. $11000.00

    18 hp $8395.00 $1595.00 = $1000.00

How do these prices sound compared to what you are paying

My exmark dealer quoted me 12500.00 for demo unit 42" 20 hp Not sure what thats about but whatever. I wanted the walker anyway.

i'm sure different areas of the country have different pricing but back in january i was quoted $8140.00 for the 23hp ghs tractor and $1449.00 for the 42'' ghs deck. and this was a 2008 model. w/tax it came to $10260.23. through the month of march they are offering me their pro day price which will knock off about $200.00

My advice to you is don't settle for any less than the 23HP. I don't know what your altitude is down in Clayton, but the higher you go the more HP's you will want. We are thinking about the MTGHS 42" with the 23 or 25 HP. Good Luck!!!

We are at 5280 ft, same as Denver. We are in Albuquerque NM and My name is Clayton although there is a Clayton NM if that makes any sense. I was happy with the price for the 23 hp. I have a walker now that is probably worth 2-3 Grand to someone, but i never get around to selling off old equipment unless someone asks me. Our walker dealer here in town is really good, but his prices are high when it comes to service. He is the only walker dealer out of at least 40 dealers around town.

How does the power dump work.

I think the 18 hp is the 20 hp from what ive heard on here. That would make it under 10 b4 taxes. I still wanna go with the 23hp, for piece of mind if anything.

if your getting the 23, just get the 26. the 23 uses 1.35 gallons per hour, and the 26efi uses .99 . The 26 is what, $1000 more then the 23? That means it will pay for itself in 900 hours at $3.10 a gallon. Plus it will be worth more when it comes to resale. And it has more power to boot.

I will scan the fuel consumption use chart I got from the dealer the other day and post it for you.
