I went to talk to my dealer about ordering my Gravely 34Z and he said the only 2004 model they have is an old one that has been demoed. I told him I wanted a new one and he told me he could not get anymore only the 2005 models which are more money. A new 2004 model was $4000 at my dealer and he said a 2005 will be more, but he did not have an exact price. Has anyone heard anything about the 05 model?

    Thanks... :)

why not take the demo one at a discount price. They are going to be willing to discount to get rid of last years inventory anyway.

05 models from everyone are going to be more. Chalk it up to steel prices. Don't be surprised by 5-10% increases.

Gravely wont be the only mower with a price increase. I've heard from dealers and also here on lawnsite that just about all the mowers will be going up next year because of the rising steel prices.

The demo 04 should be less than 4,000 should get a real good deal on it.

$3500 for the demo, but it has a lot of rust on the pulleys and hardware ;)

I would not worry about the rust. Besides, you should get a full two year warranty, just as if it was brand new.
If you want a brand new, 2004, 34Z, I have one here in my showroom. I will sell you for $3750.00, and you will not have to pay sales tax. Come on down and pick it up at your convenience.
We are located 30 miles north of Dallas. You can easily make it here in a long day, and back home the next. :)
    PM me if interested.

I agree with Mowingman, the rust is not an issue at all. Just send him a check to hold the mower and then pick it up when you get a chance.
