What kind of longevity is every one getting out of the mower deck belts? I have a Husquvarna LZ5227 shich has gone through two deck belts in approximately 450 hours. The dealer says that this is normal?

The original deck belt on my Hustler finally busted at about the 450 hour mark.

The original deck belt on our 48" Lazer HP finally blew at 2,000 hours. Our other mowers have all lasted 1,200 or more before they went bad.

It's a weaker belt than scag/exmark. Our 27/61 husky rips them up in under 400 hours. They stretch out.

Our scag turf tiger went (I think) over 1000 hours and was still in good shape but we popped the idler spring and damaged the belt.

I'm easily getting over 1,000 hours from deck belts on my Dixies.
