My old Solo backpack sprayer was used in the distant past spraying Round-Up. I want to try vinegar on my own weed patch but I would like to feel confident that any results are purely from vinegar only. Any recommendations on how to "purify" or clean the sprayer? Do I need to? Or should I get a new one?
All help is greatly appreciated. Andy

Soap and water or a little ammonia and water will do the trick, I believe. Try reading the Roundup label. Neal

I use nutra-sol to clean out my sprayers. So far so good.

I agree with using Nutra-sol. I just figured Andy wouldn't be using any more Roundup or other synthetics so it would be cheaper to use something readily available. Nutra-sol is good. Neal

Please , dump the crapy Solo and get a SP 3
I used Solo for 3 years and leaked bad .
The factory sent me 4 more and samething , leaks .

SP3 are sooooo much better .
Call Tessman seed co in ST Paul .
    $117.00 each.
    I've used them all , I think , SP 3 rules .
