Other than the seat itself, it's the exact same thing I have on my 930M
And, the seat itself looks to have some pretty nice features
Check for seat latch to prevent tilting forward under harsh conditions.
Latch is provided in JD kit.
Will do ...
The more comparisons I do, the more I lean towards an air system like the PUFFER. Any body have feedback pros/cons ??? Even if it should take a bit of "fitting" ... I have all winter to get it right.
It seems to me the air ride would be softer/gentler than a spring driven system.
There's a thread on here from earlier this year (IIRC) about the Puffer system. Do a search using that name and/or suspension seats and you should find it fairly easily.
As an ex truck driver with 20 some years in the seat, the one thing any of these seats are missing is to have a rocker system built in
to take out the back slap you get when hitting rough areas. This lets the seat slide forward and back just a small bit to take that big jolt away.
That my friend is why the newer mowers have the ISO system on them. four corner rubber mounts that allow movement foward & sideways... then mount your ss insert to your seat...

Unless someone gives me a very negative feedback on the ZTR Puffer system, I think it is the way I'm going to go. I know it's going to lift me a bit, but, I'm expecting that, so, it's no big deal.
Seems the infinitely adjustable airbag would be softer and easier to adjust that a crank up spring tension system. I've spoken to several truck drivers and farmers who've used this type of seat, and they all seem to love it. Anybody got anything bad to interject here, please do before I plunk down a fair amount of cash on a regrettable purchase.
thanx ... ... ...
Fuzzy the Puffer makes for a very comfortable ride. You really have nothing to lose, because if it doesn't work out the way you like Mark from Puffer will give you a full refund. I have a good feeling you won't be returning it though. Keep us posted
