Was on Deere's site and saw the K series loaders are on the website now. I don't recall a 524 loader being made in the past, it was 444j then 544j, now they have a 524 which is in between the 444 and 544. All K's from 444 up to 724. Some interesting text I found on the brochure for the 444k/524k/544k/624k. Programmable clutch cutoff increases productivity in all kinds of terrain. Simply select the slope of your dumpsite level, small, or steep. Depressing the brake pedal disconnects the transmission while maintaining engine speed for fast boom cycles. Embedded payload scale enables you to fill each truck to its limit for maximum productivity. Its available on all Z-bar and high-lift loaders. Auto-idle automatically reduces engine speed to help conserve fuel after an operatordetermined period of inactivity. Autoshutdown applies the brakes and turns off the engine after extended inactivity.
