I bought an 8000 with stand and balancer. Cannot wait to get it and start sharpening my blades for real.

I've tried most everything else and have always been disapointed with the results.

SORRY but what a rip off. You can buy one brand new on ebay for less than your offering your demo units for. Come on,,, get a group buy together and REALLY GIVE US A DISCOUNT.

    Hello All,

We ran a lawnsite member exclusive discount in spring. We do not yet have another one planned yet, but I would guess sometime in Fall.

We have run member discounts in the past, but people really don't take much advantage of them. Our best discounts are always at the GIE/EXPO in Louisville.

    Thank you,

Louisville really doesn't help those of us on the East Coast. But thanks

Yep, I bought a Oregon instead. Works great and inexpensive.

    Hello Kaferhaus,

Please consider us when the Oregon fails, a great many of our customers move from the Oregon to a Magna-Matic after 1-2 years of using it.

Not that it will necessarily fail that quick, but the noise, unsafe dual direction motor, burnt out switches, limited edge angle, wing nut loosening to change angle, no way to determine angle, burning of the blades, wheel dressing, and etc are many of the reasons.

If you are interested in reading about some of the engineering differences click the link below:

Also all MAGNA-MATIC products are MADE IN THE USA not China like most of our competition.

In regards to discounts and promotions, we always list them on Lawnsite first, so keep an eye out, we'll run something again.

    Thank you for your consideration.
