Maybe you have been watching the last few days...maybe you haven't.

If you have been watching, you may have noticed that the Democratic Party is dealing with some issues. Tonight Presidential hopeful Obama will give his acceptance speech at Invesco Field.

What does he have to say to put to rest the questions? About Hillary? About his lack of experience? About his running mate and endorsers previously criticizing him? What will he have to say that will convince the American voters that he is capable?

He needs to anounce that on day one if elected, a 20% across the board cut to the federal budget. Then tell all govorment management types their jobs are depending on how well they implement the 20% cut.

Anyone wishing to keep their level of spending must first offset the 20% cut with other cuts.

Anounce he will not sign any legislation with any "pork" attached.

I like your thinking, but....Obama is a democrat which means lots of pork, programs (necessary or not) and above all, higher taxes. He scares me a bit, maybe not quite a much as hillary though.

Sean, Buddy... you're lookin' at this thing all wrong man! Democrats don't need to muddy-up the situation with facts... (facts are so, like 90's dude). :hammerhead:

You need to focus on how all of this makes you feel! Communism is gonna work this time... I can just feel it! Finally... we're gonna all be equal(LY SCREWED). Gonna stick it to the MAN.... er, wait, I am the man. Oh well, what-everrrrrr :dizzy:

I can hardly wait for Obama's coronation! It's gonna be FREE soy-milk sugar-free neopolitan ICE CREAM FOR EVERYBODY-EVERY DAY!!!! And rumor has it, NO HOMEWORK EVER on weekends!!!! :cool2::cool2::cool2:

I havent watched. But back in 1980 George Bush sr called Reagans economic poicy voodoo economics.

It s all irrelevant anyway. The people who arent voting for him will make a big deal of it, those who are voting for it will ignore it. The people he has to convince are the ones who havent decided yet, and they will probably never even hear of any of this.

He needs to come out and say "Low Ballers will be shot on site"

People......when you have your lawn service....STAY INSIDE! No need to chit chat.

Be mindful when planting......don't plant so close together in the middle of no where which causes excess trimming!

These are the true issues that need to be dealt with!!! Democrat or Republican:usflag:

Was watching the news hr last night and there was a black female reporter from the Chi sun times that made a real good point. 1/2 of Hillary voters were not Hillary supporters , they were anti Obama voters. He has no plan ( according to her ) on how he will deal with capturing their votes if it,s even possible.

I think our two party system works reasonably well.

The problem is the so called independants one issue types.
They only want their issue dealt with and thereby waste their vote and gum up the whole process.

    Animal rights people
    Enviromental wackos
    Anti-war peace nicks
    etc, etc, etc.

They would vote for a communist if he promised what they want with their one issue.

Not working within the two party system to gradually bring your issue up for concideration causes nothing to get done. Their issue dies and neither party has a big enough majority to pass lany meaniful legislation. IMO
