Desert flower lust.

    Just about time for the bloom, should be good this
    year, been rainy, as it is today. Saw yellow poppies
    on our trip to Gila Bend. Best year was 2005, & we'll
    head for Death Valley again if it's that good.

    When I was in my early 20,s I went thru the desert on my way back east from Cali. As a youngin I never knew the desert bloomed . Was an awesome surprise that was!

    Yep, when we were in Death Valley, I realized I mite be stepping on plants that had not
    bloomed for a hundred years.
