Anyone use Design Ware version 3.3. It is about half the price of Pro Landscape. The catalog states it can be used with any CAD program to create a photo realistic illusion of 3D.

Sounds like you need the additional cost of a CAD program which is already part of Pro Landscape. You also need to add a library for plants for the southeastern part of the US. If you need basic imaging software at a few hundred dollars less than Pro Landscape, Design Ware looks like an alternative.

Having used Pro Landscape for many years and having been able to upgrade on a yearly basis with information, libraries and techniques, it's hard to go wrong with professional grade software for professional quality imaging and planning software. At the trade shows, Pro Landscape typically offers an outstanding purchase price as well as very reasonable upgrades. Their education and technical service are some of the best in any software genre.
